Who we are

Refugee Community Center (RCC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help refugees and immigrants rebuild safe, sustainable lives in Iowa. RCC was founded in 2021 .

 With a diverse staff and the help of faithful volunteers and interns, we conduct educational and social service programs that help newcomers rebuild their lives in their new community, navigate U.S. systems and cultures, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and become confident, thriving, integrated members of society.

 RCC welcomes new supporters to learn about our work and tour our programs in action. During this session you'll hear about the history of RCC, the basics of refugee resettlement, and about RCC's work of welcoming refugees into our community.
