RCC welcomes anyone who can volunteer to help teach ESL to our refugee community. Your support is very important to our refugee community. We have many refugees families who need help with ESL classes. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact us via the email or phone number listed bellow.
Volunteering
At Refugee Community Center (RCC), our mission is to assist and help immigrants and refugees to acquire skills they need to function effectively as workers, to meet their needs. You can make an impact and welcome refugees into our community by joining us as we work to welcome refugees and immigrants to make them feel they belong in a safe community.
ESL Class
As a volunteer not only will you be teaching immigrants and refugees, you will be developing enriching relationships, building strong friendships and learning a wide diversity of culture backgrounds.
Citizenship Class
We provide citizenship classes designed to prepare immigrants and refugees who are ready to take their civic tests with limited English proficiency. We offer interpretation during classes which makes it much easier for our students.
